GAME NIGHT REMATCH
Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009Well, we had game night last night, and we had not played since the last time I lost to Mom. We were down to the last turn and very close in score. Thanks to my friend Judy’s advice many years ago, I learned some words in which the “Q” does not need a “U”. So, with “QAT”, I was able to beat Mom by 11 points. She was stuck with a “Z”. Whew! But, I must say, Mom was quite impressive. She used all seven letters! I am telling you, she has come a long way.
After Scrabble, we played some Boggle and just sat around and talked. I love our game nights. Bailey is getting so big and it will not be long until she is out with her friends instead of us. We are enjoying our time together.
